Miss Grand International Dethrones 2nd Runner Up Thae Su Nyein of Myanmar

Miss Grand International has dethroned the 2nd Runner Up, Myanmar from its 2nd Runner up crown, as per their announcement today, Oct 28, 2024.

As per the announcment:

“The Miss Grand International Organization has decided to revoke the tile of 2nd Runner-UP from Miss Grand Myanmar 2024, Ms Thae Su Nyein due to inappropriate behavior and actions that violate several regulations.”

Videos have been circulating that Miss Grand Myanmar did not accept her crown well and her national director, was seen removing her crown quickly while getting off stage.

Comments have alleged that the owner of MGI has asked for $25,000 from the Myanmar group but neither of them have formally addressed this allegation. The Facebook Page and Instagram of Miss Grand Myanmar Continues to be up and showing Thae Su Nyein as the 2nd runner up.
